I am a transgender and bisexual artist based in Salt Lake City, Utah who uses the experience of trauma and PTSD to create visceral representations of this identity. I reflect this in my art by intentionally pushing reality in abstracting figures or referencing the body primarily through form and material/medium in my 2D and 3D art. Concrete as material and in architecture has been a point of departure for my paintings and sculptures for its heavy emotional and physical qualities in its range of surface and composition.
